The Engine

Look at the propeller on the bass boat to see if it has a lot of damage. The damage can include things like scratches, dents, and gouges. If you see these things, then this tells you a lot about the propeller. This is because the owner has hit things such as rocks while they were running their bass boat.
Damage to the propeller is a sign that there are other problems that can cause damage to the shaft and gears. In a case like this, you would need to replace the propeller soon, along with the shaft and gears after you purchase your pre-owned bass boat.
Besides these two things, there are many more things you need to inspect. This includes the body of the boat, the interior, switches and other electrical components, and more.
